Jager Wristband- My Personal Experience 2019
After the launch of our long-awaited Jager Wristband last week, here is some more detail about the ultimate freshers' pass that lasts all year!
As a Fresher in 2019, I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the different options available, as I am sure some of you can relate to! Moving to a completely new city where I didn't know anyone, let alone have any knowledge of the clubs and events, it was so difficult to navigate.
Over Summer 2019 I did a little bit of research and found out about the Jager Wristband, it seemed like the best of both worlds with the low price, wide range of events and long term benefits, especially as someone new to Brighton and clubbing. It was lucky that I decided to purchase this ticket, as upon arriving at Sussex University, most of my friends and flatmates had also purchased this ticket.
I think the best part of this wristband is that you have the benefit for 365 days, meaning that it is not just a freshers' ticket but amazing for the whole year! On top of this, because of the price, you get your money's worth just after three events, meaning this is the perfect wristband for a student budget. This seemed to make a big difference to my freshers' experience because my flat and I got in the routine of going to the same club events most weeks meaning that we got to know the same crowd.
My favourite event was definitely CU Next Tuesday, being held at The Arch it was a great mid-week club night as it was full of students. I always enjoyed this night because it seemed a little bit more casual and it was always funny to wake up on a Wednesday morning and have to go to lectures hungover.
